URBANA, IL- Audrey A. Ernest, nee Neumann, 80, of Urbana, IL, passed away on January 3, 2010, at her residence in Urbana.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Rev. Michael Smith will officiate. Entombment will be held at Mt. Hope Mausoleum, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ernest was born in Chicago, IL, and lived most of her life in Urbana. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Mrs. Ernest taught and retired from Illinois public schools. Mrs. Ernest was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Loren E. Ernest and both parents. She is survived by one sister, Bette Mosher of Salem, IL, and two brothers, Douglas Neumann (Normagene) of Akron, Ohio, and Robert L. Neumann(Connie) of Franklin, GA. as well as many nieces and nephews.
