URBANA, IL- Arne Lawrence Andersen, 90, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 11:15 A.M., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Pastor Terry Strom will officiate. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Andersen was born on January 23, 1923 in Denmark, a son of Nels Christian and Maren (Nielsen) Andersen. He married Jean Ann Rudisill on June 13, 1947 in Champaign, IL. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Nancy Jo Andersen Otis(Ronald Eric) of Urbana; 3 grandchildren, Justin Otis, Kristin Otis( fiancee, Aaron Valentine) and Paul Otis(Bethanie), all of Urbana, IL; 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Elizabeth Page of Champaign, IL.

Mr. Andersen graduated from Champaign High School and worked for C.S. Johnson in Champaign for over 40 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Urbana, and he enjoyed golfing and taking care of his yard and garden.
