Araceli Solorzano, 35, of Urbana, passed away at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13th at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00 p.m., with Fr. John Pham officiating. Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory will perform the cremation at their on-site crematory following funeral services.

Araceli was born August 30, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Anita Beltran, and Jose Solorzano. She married Israel Jose Lainez. He preceded her in death. She is survived by four children: Erlinda and Pedro Soto, Juni Lopez, and Juliusmar Lainez, all of Urbana. Seven sisters also survive: Glenda Villagrana (Concepcion Villagrana), of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Magdalena Solorzano, of Rantoul, Illinois, Adelina Medina (Luis Medina), of Oklahoma, Alma Medina, of Champaign, Illinois, Veronica Beltran (Domitilo Flores), of Wheeling, Illinois, Ana G. Castro (Omar Castro), of Urbana, Illinois, and Milagros Beltran, of Wheeling, Illinois. Maternal Grandmother, Leonor Pena.

Araceli was unable to work due to a long struggle with Lupus. However, the disease never impaired her ability to touch the lives of her family and friends.
