Annette F. Holland, 83, of Urbana, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Memorial services will be January 16, 1:00 p.m., at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Holland was born August 25, 1926 in Chicago. She is survived by three daughters: Jackie Farber of Camargo, Lisa Farber-King of Troy, Ohio, Athan Chilton of Philo; four sons: Michael Farber of Urbana, Dan Farber of Oakland, California, Steven Holland of Champaign, William Paul Holland of Rochester, Minnesota; grandchildren: Joseph Farber, Sonia Farber, Eleanor Farber, Aaron Holland, Danielle Holland, Christopher Holland, Hilleary Marshall; great grandchildren: Ainsley Holland, Ava Holland, Ashton Holland, and Joseph Farber, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband Israel Irving Holland and her sister Ellen Halperin. Mrs. Holland received a Bachelor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago and a certificate from the Katherine Gibbs School. She was employed by the University of Illinois as a Secretary IV in the Department of Animal Sciences. She was a member of AFSCME and enjoyed travel, theater, music and dance. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
