Anna Rosalie Ferguson 29 of Savoy died at 5:52 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Rev. Jackie Clements officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A life celebration will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Independent Media Center, Urbana.

Anna was born on March 28, 1982 in Peoria, the daughter of Kent Ferguson and Patty Stamos.

Survivors include her daughter; Korazon Ferguson of Savoy, father; Kent Ferguson of Urbana, mother; Patty Stamos of Urbana, one brother; Daniel Ferguson of Eugene, Oregon, one sister; Kimberly Ferguson of Urbana, maternal grandparents; Jeanne and Don Kelly of Peoria and paternal grandparents; Joanne and David Ferguson of Paris, Arkansas.

She was a 2010 graduate of Humboldt State University.

Anna loved her job as a librarian for the Eastlawn Primary Grade School in Rantoul.

She was a member of the Unitarian Church and loved world languages, Latino culture, poetry, the ocean, the redwoods, traveling, photography and most importantly being mother to Kora.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Korazon Ferguson Fund in care of First Federal Savings & Loan, 1311 S. Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61821.
