Anna J. Deremiah, 83, of Thomasboro passed away at 7:00 a.m. on February 2, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center in Paxton.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Rev. Richard McGuire will officiate. Burial will take place at Beckman Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna was born on July 16, 1933 in Taylorville, IL to parents William (Bill) and Fannie Christan (Porter) England. They preceded her in death. On March 3, 1956 she married Norman (Tom) Deremiah in Nokomis, IL. He passed away on September 4, 1992. Also preceding her in death was her son Terry Lee Deremiah and her sister Viola M. England Durbin.

She is survived by her children Carol A. Greear of Thomasboro and Larry D. Deremiah (Debbie) of Thomasboro. Six grandchildren; Dana Greear-Lovell (Jodie) of Georgia, Shaun Greear (Keri) of Champaign, Amanda Shaw of Thomasboro, Tasha Deremiah Sayles (Jim) of North Carolina , Terry Shaw of Thomasboro, Stephanie Deremiah Miller (Mike) of Rantoul, and five great grandchildren; Bryant Shaw, James Sayles, Bekkan Shaw, Axle Miller and Kendall Greear also survive her.

Anna enjoyed car rides, camping, fishing, cooking and Bluegrass music. She also liked to knit, crochet and needlepoint. Anna loved her family and spending time with them.
