Ann Marie Pavlik, 92, of Urbana died Tuesday November 21, 2006 at 1:30 A.M. at the Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana. Funeral services will be Friday November 24, 2006 at 11 A.M. at the St. Matthew Catholic Church in Champaign. Rev. Father Meridian will officiate. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery Champaign. Renner Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana is handling the arrangements. Ann Marie Pavlik was born July 26, 1914 in Cincinnati Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Helen Fabian Szabo. She married Edward Pavlik on April 11, 1942 in Joliet, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1986. Survivors include one son Edward D. Pavlik of Champaign, two grandsons, two great grand daughters, one great grandson, and a brother Frank Szabo of Joliet, Illinois. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. Pavlik worked 20 years at the Lewis Service Store. A retail store in Joliet. She retired and moved to Champaign in 1974. She enjoyed reading, cooking, collecting tea cups and souvenir spoons. She was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church in Champaign.
