Anita Faye Bean, 88 of Champaign, passed away Monday July 6, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born June 3, 1938 at DeWitt, IL, the daughter of George and Juanita (Forbes) Gazelle.  She married Robert F. "Bob" Bean on May 31, 1991. and he survives.  Anita is also survived by a daughter, Debbie Carrier, sons, Robert "Bob" Groves (Brenda), Jim Bean, Hughie Bean, a brother, Carl Gazelle and a sister, Ann Perry (Jim). And Preceded in death by brother George Gazelle.  She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Anita graduated from Normal Community High School and worked for Younger and Son Reality and Brown Hobbs Mcurray as a secretary and insurance agent.  Once retired, she enjoyed winters in Arizona, traveling to car shows with their 36 Ford Street Rod with groups from Champaign and Decatur.  She was an avid Illini, Bears and Cubs Fan.

A Celebration of Life gathering for the memories of Anita will be 1:00 PM Wednesday July 15 with a visitation starting at 11:00 AM at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 Philo Rd., Urbana.  Pastor Hank Sanford will officiate.
