Alma E. Jenkins, 88, of Urbana passed away at 5:20 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 W Bloomington Rd, Champaign. Rev. Dick McGuire will be officiating.

Alma was born in Tuscola on May 12, 1926 to parents Frank and Ella (Wills) Benskin. They preceded her in death. On November 10, 2001 Alma married Delbert Jenkins, he passed away on April 8, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Susan Todd, brother Coy Benskin and sister Minnie Henderson.

Alma is survived by her daughters, Judy Leonard of Urbana, Barbara Parant of Atlanta, GA , her son Morris Miller of Tuscon, AZ, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Alma attended Mahomet schools and was a clerk for Montgomery Wards.
