A memorial service for Allen Eugene Foster, 74, of Urbana will be at 3 p.m. May 6 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 2200 S. Philo Road, U. The Rev. Robert Rasmus will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. A reception will be after the service at the church. Renner Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U, is handling arrangements. Mr. Foster died at 11:05 a.m. Monday (April 24, 2006) at home. Hip was born Sept. 20,1931, in Paxton, a son of Robert Allen and Nora Blanche Richardson Foster. Survivors include his mother, Nora Aaron of Urbana; a brother, Doug Aaron of Framingham, Mass.; and a sister, Nancy Newton of Hoopeston. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters. Mr. Foster retired from Caterpillar in Peoria and was a barber for many years in Bloomington. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Peoria Masonic Lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons and Carle Cancer Support Group.
