Albert Henry Schaede 94 of Urbana died at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Illini Heritage Nursing Home, Champaign.

There will be no public services. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Schaede was born on December 21, 1915 in Browns Valley, Minnesota, the son of August Otto Julies Frerick and Lena Weisner Schaede.

Survivors include a granddaughter and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.

Mr. Schaede retired as an electrician for Local 601.

He was a WW II Navy veteran and was in a group as honor guard in Hyde Park for FDR's burial.

Mr. Schaede was a member and Past Commander of VFW Post 630, Urbana Masonic Lodge #157 A.F. & A.M., A.A.S.R. Valley of Danville, Ansar Shrine Springfield.
