Marilyn Rae Faught, 85 of Ogden, formerly of Champaign passed away at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 in Champaign.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Pastor Jeff Caithamer will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Gunnisonville Cemetery in Dewitt Township, Michigan.
Marilyn was born on March 14, 1933 in Cadillac, MI to parents Harold E. and Myrtle B. (Ingersoll) Arnold. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother Wayne Arnold and her daughter Debra Lea Bohlen.
She is survived by her sons; Mark Faught of Champaign, Bill Faught of Medford, OR and Dave (Ana) Faught of Chicago. Her brother Duane Arnold, son-in-law Elton Bohlen, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her.
Marilyn was baptized at Windsor Road Christian Church but in her later years attended St. John’s Lutheran Church in Champaign.
She was a graduate of Cadillac Schools. In her early life Marilyn worked as a soda fountain clerk and was a receptionist at a local dental office. She also worked as a clerk for the Girl Scouts of America. Marilyn liked to sew, loved music and playing the organ.
Family was important to Marilyn and she enjoyed helping her children. She also enjoyed traveling with her children and would travel back home to Michigan to see her family and friends as often as she could.
